True Blood News:







Just in case you didn’t know, last year in 2009 Charlaine Harris signed a 3 book contract deal with Penguin.
The new contract goes into effect after Book 10 and requires her to write Books 11, 12 and 13.
Dead In The Family, the most recent release, is Book 10.

Charlaine Harris just recently stated that Book 11 is tentatively titled “Dead Letters.”
However, Charlaine Harris did warn readers that sometimes book titles get changed before they’re actually published.

Here’s what MIGHT happen in Book 11
-Barry the bellboy will return.
-Someone that’s part elf will be introduced into the storyline.
-Characters with fae heritages will be included (they will also be included in Book #12 and possibly Book #13).
-Manfred will have a larger role in Book 11. Manfred is actually a character from Charlaine Harris’ popular Harper Connelly series.
Additionally:
Charlaine Harris plans to release a short novella called “The Sookie Companion” in February 2011 which provides more backstory information on the characters from the book.
It’s rumored that Quinn will play a prominent role in this book.

Update: The title has been changed to Dead Reckoning:

News Update October 1, 2010
Due to the death of Mrs. Harris' mother, the release date for the Sookie Companion has been pushed back. She did state that book 11
will be released in May as planned. However, with all the edits and work still do on the companion piece, she will have to
delay the release so that she can deal with her loss.
I just want to say to Charlaine that all of her fans will understand, I am sure, that she has to take time to recover from this loss.
